Kulturní centrum Cooltour

Founded in 2011 and located on Černá louka in Ostrava, Cooltour is a cultural center, art laboratory and community hub rolled into one. It provides a creative platform for music, film, theatre, dance, media and experimental art. The venue features a café‑bar, coworking space and stage for performances and DJ sets. Over its decade of activity, Cooltour built a reputation for innovative public projects like Cinema Royal, community gardening, participatory art interventions and the annual MOVE Fest dance festival. It hosted international residencies and brought together diverse audiences through workshops, discourses and collaborative events. The center closed in 2021 after reaching its mission and facing funding and space limitations.
