Hands-on Tech/Team lead: specify your own role

About the job

We are looking for someone capable of handling A - Z delivery. From working with the Sales team, preparing initial estimates and technical solution analysis, through guiding and mentoring a small team to final delivery and handover. This role combines hands-on coding with leadership and business oriented approach.

This position might be a good fit for you if you have ambitions in areas of development strategy and leadership, but want to stay in touch with your tech stack. Below is a list of activities that CAN be a part of this collaboration. We are not expecting anybody to handle them all. We will specify your role together during the recruitment procedure and it will evolve based on where you would like to steer your career next.

  • Lead and mentor a team of software developers, providing technical guidance and support.
  • Oversee the design, development, and deployment of software solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback while ensuring quality of the codebase.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration within the team and cross-functional pasts of the company.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement.

You are going to have a smooth start if at least some of the following applies to you

  • Full-stack development experience and strong coding skills in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Typescript, PHP, or Python.
  • Understanding of software development methodologies, principles, and best practices.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and logically while considering optimal tech stack, performing business analysis and preparing architecture of a project.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication in English

Nice-to-have 

  • Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and services.
  • Prior experience in a similar leadership role within a tech-driven company.
