The “AI v praxi” conference, part of the Dny AI festival, was organized by the Moravian-Silesian Innovation Centre (MSIC). It brought together business leaders, innovators, and technology experts to discuss how AI can be practically used in company operations.
Our colleague Jakub Bílý opened the event with a presentation Real Examples of Using AI in Business Processes. He shared real project cases showing how AI transforms daily workflows such as approval automation, pattern recognition, compliance monitoring and others.
Jakub highlighted to attendees that while AI has huge potential, we are still discovering how far technology can go. This uncertainty demands flexibility and adaptability. Companies that fail to adjust will face a serious disadvantage.

He also pointed out that AI tools will not replace developers anytime soon. Understanding what AI generates and how it fits into business processes remains essential. From Moravio’s experience, these tools bring the most value to senior developers who can use them effectively and responsibly.
Progress is rapid. What AI models can do today is also the most expensive and least efficient version of what they will become. In a year, they will likely be faster, cheaper, and far more powerful. Smaller, specialized models and offline agents are already emerging, enabling new, secure applications.
Other speakers discussed topics such as AI ethics, innovation in Czech businesses, and practical ways for small and mid-sized companies to start automation. The event once again showed that AI is no longer a futuristic concept but a vital part of business strategy.
