Dotykačka company approached us with a request for help in building their new portal and associated ecommerce site. We didn't hesitate for a moment and immediately started working together.
Dotykačka (branded Dotypos in some markets) is a leading cloud-based POS system from the Czech Republic for hospitality, retail and service businesses. Used by over 30,000 customers across Europe, it manages sales, inventory, loyalty programs, reservations and integrates with payments and third-party tools.

Initial analysis
At the beginning, there was an initial analysis of needs and clarification of other rough ideas. Based on this, we designed the project timeline and agreed with the client on the cooperation. We collaborated using agile methodology on the basis of two-week sprints and delivered specific pre-arranged units of the project every two weeks. Thanks to this, the client was able to gradually start working with the entire project before it was completely finished.
Client goals
The client's goal was to create a new modern web presentation, ideally based on the WordPress platform with the possibility of maximizing and at the same time simplicity of self editing. The client has its own developers who will take care of the project after launch.
How we put the whole project together
The whole project uses the WordPress platform as a basis, which was the client's request. The WooCommerce platform is used for the e-commerce site, which we have chosen as the best option for the client's needs within the sale of his products (roughly only dozens of products). Both WordPress and WooCommerce solutions are relatively easy to expand. To maximize the possibility of editing pages, almost everything is edited by the page builder Elementor. It is one of the best page builders for WordPress and WooCommerce. We have created a lot of dynamically editable global or specifically tuned "widgets" for the client, which are individual pieces of pages that be can use over and over again on any page of the website. This gives great freedom in managing all the content.
WooCommerce is also connected to the client's internal systems for orders processing.
This was our last WordPress based project.
